Transesophageal echocardiography(TEE) is a valuable and safe complementary method of evaluating mediastinal masses. This case demonstrates a mediastinal tumor of retrocardial space, which is diagnosed as aortic aneurysm of thoracic descending
aorta
by
computed tomography. TEE visualized the anatomical structure of aneurysmal aortic wall.
